NYE FOR CONGRESS CAMPAIGN UNVEILS FIRST AD: THRILL

Virginia Beach, VA--The Glenn Nye for Congress campaign unveiled its first television ad today, beating Thelma Drake's campaign to the airwaves with a positive biographical spot entitled "Thrill."

"It has been a great honor to grow up in Hampton Roads and serve my country overseas, working closely with our brave men and women in uniform in places like Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.  Our first television ad speaks to the amazing opportunities I've had growing up in Hampton Roads and working overseas on behalf of our nation," said Glenn Nye.  "Now I'm running for Congress to serve again and to help bring about the change we need in Washington."

Nye campaign spokesman Rick Fromberg said, "Hampton Roads uniquely understands the value of service and devotion to country, and Glenn Nye has shown through his career that he will always put his country first.   We expect that our ad will be very well received because of its themes of service and duty to country.  It is also a sign of Glenn's campaign's strength and momentum that we are airing "Thrill" before the Drake campaign is able to communicate with voters on television."
